Maybe someday. All of our effects were written in SigmaDSP assembler code, so porting this to a PC or MAC would take some effort. We will annouce a "soft" pedal in 2013, which is going to be a facinating product.

Soft pedal as in a plugin or something like the digitech iStomp?

Something like the iStomp, but targeted towards the Souce Audio audience......not the Digitech audience. It will have all the multi-function port functionality and SA stuff like that.

This was actually the reason we started the company 8 years ago. Needed to create the library of killer effects first.....

I got the BEF standard and MWBD standard...still tweaking around with the controls and not quite getting the wobbles that I c on Nathan's videos.
What are the settings that i should try?
Will i need other equipment to get that sound? (octave pedal??)

just got Source Audio Soundblox 2 Dimension Reverb...

Man that thing rocks, if I knew about expression pedal I would get that also but now have to order it...

but a quick one, you can use only source audio expression pedal right?

Yes.

But that makes me want to ask why does 'Control Input' have 'HH' and 'Exp' choices when they sort of are the same and plug into the same input? Huh

The signals are very similar, but actually different enough to require dedicated inputs. The range of the HH is narrow, while the range of the EXP is wide. Also, the HH is bipolar around a center point whereas the EXP is not.

Finding the right setting for the Multiwave is a lot more subjective than the BEF Pro/HH...so see what sounds good to you!

I only scrolled through the first 4 or 5 pages of this thread, but I noticed something shocking: no one has the programmable EQ pedal on their board. That is my first Source Audio pedal, and it's fricken sweet!
It can make you go from a big pure jazz tone to an overdriven rock tone pressing a button. And the auto scroll makes some fun noises, too.
You guys should all get one next. I love it. I'm thinking the reverb or BEF will be my next, but I wanted my first one to be the most useful.

It does look pretty neat, that's for sure. If I was going to get one, I'd seriously consider it. I found myself recommending it to someone the other day, in fact. But dang. I have an EQ on my bass, one on my Multiwave, one on my DI, one on my amp. I'm just not sure I need another one. I'm only really using two of the four I already have.

I'd rather get me a synth or an octaver.

well I only have the EQ on my amp and bass... and now the floor with the PEQ. For what I play it's perfect. I need to go between different tones between songs and was getting sick of trying to mess with my amp between songs. Now I hit a button and it's there.
I was just shocked that actually no one (at least in that list up there) has one.

The PEQ is on my shopping list because I need to change my clean tone sometimes and I use the EQ on the MWBD to shape the drive signal only. I'll probably set my MIDI messages to turn off the EQ when I kick in the distortion and vice versa so that I can use just the MWBD to shape the sound when I'm on distortion.
