Don't hold your breath. The pedal is still in R & D. That means no guarantee it ever comes out and certainly no timeline for release.

Well...if it goes this way, count me out. I want a do all synth pedal. And if it can't be done right, then don't do it at all.

A quick look at the feature set on our typical pedal would indicate that we will shoot to have a complete feature set!

If you break out all of the parameters than the Orbital can adjust with the 'Option' knob, you get a lot of control. Plus, one of those has dual duty depending on which Fx you are using. So it seems entirely possible to get a wide range of goodies in the Synth.

I know this all too well as the BEF Pro is my favorite filter. I have faith that this optimistic project can one day become the standard by which all synth pedals are judged. I have no doubt that you guys can pull it off.

Liar, GAS has and will force you to buy every synth pedal.

If its a processing or memory issue I could sacrifice the LFO. Oscillators to filter to amp with independent envelopes is a subtractive synth standard must.

Again, digital stuff not possible in analog pedals like the Octavius would be very cool. Like complex wave forms or tables for FM bass (DX7ish), several oscillators for paraphonic tones (MB Supersynth), waveform envelope modulation (like Moogs)...

This remains a big, long, risky development project. I would also love to have it NOW!!!

Yeah a kick starter or preorder might be a good idea... Lets you know that the market is there and hungry for this and also helps dissuade concerns about cash flow while in the r&d phase.

I'm not gigging these days due to work/family taking up my all of my time; that being said I'd grab a SA synth to make my weekly hour of solo noodling more fun and inspiring.

Don't want to speak for Roger, but I would guess it more of a matter being able to do it right than it is about concerns of marketability.

Just showing support and (+1) for this pedal to come to fruition.

I'd rather feed my BEFpro with a SA synth as opposed to a Markbass, EHX, Boss, etc. Plus, I know SA will do it right and steal the market for the bass synth world.

Small EQ has it right. We want to do it right, and that is not a simple task!

The bass in this track is what I want out of a synth pedal. The teaser track is for a new NI digital synth and is a great example of the digital sound and action I want.

https://soundcloud.com/nativeinstrum...oduct-teaser-1

Legato mode would be so stellar, but quick action envelopes and tracking for staccato thumps are a must!
