Sovtek Muff on a PT Mini?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi folks,

Thinking about a PT mini one day and I'd want to run my green sovtek muff on it. Anyone using a muff (green or black) on a PT mini and how are you finding the sizes? According to PT, the mini is 7 inches in depth and the muff is just over that (including jacks), so seeing if that's causing anyone any issues?

Or sell it and get a small clone.

I know it's petty, but I really hate pedals that are on sideways. Again, petty...I know.

you can put it in a smaller box very easily I have done it to all of my muffs, that case if HUGE for a board that small.

Whoa, a non-sexual big muff joke; I never thought I'd see the day!

I'm wondering as well actually, is there any reason to keep a russian muff over an american?

Fender - it's a large board. Less trouble to just build a clone/replica in a much smaller box (smaller PCB).

RCCollins - Small replica/clone tomato/tomAHto haha

Kosko - most bassists don't like the NYC Reissue on bass. The Russians tend to have better note definition and bass response unlike it's American cousin.

i'd say just replace it with a bass big muff, but that would be kinda hypocritical of me...
