Are you talking about Humphrey's "Badder Monkey", or someone else's mod called "spanked"?

There once was a kid who attempted that mod... While soldering, the pedal exploded, burning his family alive. There was people screaming and fire everywhere... I was that kid.

I should note that soldering becomes more dangerous and/or painful with hairy palms.

I haven't heard of this mod but I'm currently rocking the Humphrey Audio Badder Monkey that I received in a trade last week and I have been very impressed thus far with how smooth the overdrive is and perfectly the low end is retained.

I saw an ad for one. The ad says that it's "rare". I couldn't turn up any info from the net on it.

Supposedly if you hit the switch it turns into a clean boost like an AC Booster.
