For delay, you might want to check out the DD-7 over the DD-6--got some pretty cool new features, and the new expression pedal input is loads of fun! Can control level, feedback, or delay time all with the expression pedal--even all at the same time

What are you looking for in a tremolo?

I've built one of these.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbj1d...eature=related

A Tremulus Lune ...which looks like this...

Does pretty much everything you could ask for in a trem.
It has 2 leds - one for power and one for tempo. <-- More handy than you might think. You can match the speed to a song tempo without playing a note.

The blank knob on the right was going to be a variable sawtooth mod knob (up/down) but apparently this does crazy things to the speed. I'll replace it with a standard switch like in the vid.

Hay Dash! I'm actually interested in the DD-6 for a vocal effect. I plan on just using the "Hold" mode to do "freeze" sounds live. It's cheaper than the DD-7, but it's just as ideal for my intentions. Thanks for the tip, though.

A heck of a lot. All kinds of opto-controlled photo-eye tremoscillations.

And a bypass loop.

I've spoken at length with Guttermouth and just sent a message to conical johnson (who lives about an hour away) concerning the project. I don't want to give too much away until it's done, though. Hopefully we can work it out...

See, my trem needs some very specific mods. Sound/speed-wise, the EQ Devices Hummingbird is perfect. However, I'd like it to do stereo-panning, have a tap tempo, and can switch over to a photo-eye that will control the rate for crazy, freak-out, drastic speed changes... then I switch back to the tap tempo.

Same here. Could qualify his list as "educated gas"

I've been hanging around here for awhile and am reminded regularly at how little I know concerning effects.

There's gonna be a new Malekko 600B with a tone knob. Wait for that. Did you check out the Ruiner pedal by Devi Ever too?

I'm new to FX, but just picked up an Electrix Filter Queen and really dig the tone options - especially for Chill, Dub, down tempo, etc.

For feedback loops, check out OHNOHO

http://ohnoho.com/

He makes limited run feedback pedals and such. I would go into more detail, but I'm very tired.

The problem with that is the compressor in front, which probably has a significant impact on the sound. Not to mention that you can't hear much of the bass at all. Just the splatter.

Wasn't a fan of the video either but it does sound like it would rock in hands that know how to use it.
