specific pedal power requirements

Sign in to disble this ad
im building my pedalboard (power/patch cables) and i cant find the power draw on most of my pedals. the ones i can find come from unofficial sources, so if anyone can help me find out the TOTAL power draw of my board, thatd be really cool..i need to know weather i can use 1 1spot or if i need to get a 2nd one. my pedals:

analogman minichorus
boss RV-5
lime green DOD FX25
boss oc-2
red witch moon phaser
electronix messdrive
zvex machine
visual sound jekyll and hyde
boss RC20XL
dunlop 105Q
korg G5

and i'm going to add a true bypass looper (suggestions?) and some of them require (very little, right?) power..

thanks for any input.

Well, put it this way, with eleven pedals you'd average over 150mA per pedal if the 1spot output it's maximum rated current. This, IMO, is ample.

Otherwise, all boss user manuals are available for free download and all that I've seen have current ratings in the specifications.

The home page for the Zvex machine states it's current rating very clearly. As does the home page for the Jekyll & Hyde.

In three websites I've just found almost half your official sources!
