Spring loaded midi trigger

would love a spring loaded pedal that when pressed, sends the notes being played, when released, stops triggering notes. Does that exist for bass?

It's a momentary switch, but not sure about MIDI.

When you say "sends the notes being played", do you mean "converts the notes you're playing on your bass into midi notes"?

Put a momentary switch after your midi instrument (synth, sampler, whatever).
