Stagetrix pedal fastener (velcro)

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone used or still used stagetrix pedal velcro? If so, are they good? What I want to know is, if the velcro has the rough side? My pedalboard has the soft feeling velcro and my pedals have the rough side of the velcro. Hope it makes sense. thanks

Yes, it's good, and yes, it's the tacky side. Will work fine, but so would ANY Velcro.

I would suspect a roll of industrial Velcro is probably seriously cheaper if you have a handful of pedals.

Why didn't anyone ever tell me bossa nova sounded so good?

The velcro that came with my pedaltrain is detaching from some of the pedals, that's why I'm looking for other alternatives. If the industrial velcro is better than the pedaltrain velcro I'll buy it cause its cheaper and longer roll

the Pedaltrain velcro is crappy. poo-based. AWFUL.

go to Home Depot and buy a 15 foot box of Industrial Strength Velcro and you'll be covered for a good long while. that's what i use and i pull stuff on and off my board all the time, never had any come off of a pedal and it's super secure.

StageTrix stuff seems VERY expensive for what it is. they DID have a Settings Marker Pen at the last NAMM that is pretty sexy.

User review found on the Guitar Center website:

StageTrix Pedalboard Pedal Fastener - 3 Pack and more Instrument Amp Parts at GuitarCenter.com.

This is an incredible invention. Can't believe nobody ever thought of this before. It really works EXACTLY like shown in the "Photos" above. Fits Boss and many MXR size pedals perfectly! Installs in 5 seconds. Also, it allows you to protect the resale value of the pedal. By removing the cut out in the middle you can protect the label on the bottom of the pedal. There will be no adhesive, etc. to muck it up. Or you can attach the whole thing for even more sticking area. But, to tell you the truth,
it works just fine with or without that center piece. If you do this don't throw out that extra patch of material. You can "recycle" it for use on on some larger pedals. Made of very high quality Velcro. Really sticks well and won't melt when your board is in the trunk of your car, etc. during the summer. You could potentially use two of them together for larger pedals like the Line 6's , etc. I pulled off all my old Velcro and replaced it with these. I keep my pedals on a PP Jr in a soft case. With these installed the pedals NEVER slip off no matter how I carry the bag - sideways, upside down, etc. It just doesn't matter. Worth every penny

I couldn't agree more with this review!
