Hi ya' all, yesterday I noticed a strange thing using my Zoom MS60-B but since it happened a few moments before gigging I couldn't double-check every setting (maybe I missed something, I dunno…). Before I take some time twiddling with it, I'm gonna ask you anyway, though.
I was going to use an amp modeling effect just to reduce the way-too-hot signal from one of my basses, reducing the gain parameter (or even the level) in the amp simulator… and then, after that, I wanted to add a touch of reverb.
The strange thing is that the presence of the amp simulator in that patch I was trying to create, in some way "disabled" the reverb.
Even though I checked that both were active, in that patch, I simply could NOT hear any reverb.
I tried switching their position in the effect chain, first amp model then reverb, and then first reverb followed by amp model… but nothing changed!! No reverb whatsoever!
I ended up ditching the reverb and using just the amp simulator, since the most urgent thing was to reduce the bass' signal, while the reverb was just a nice touch, not something I really really needed. But still, I'd like to know what's the deal!!
Thanks for any help you might give me!!
