Submarine and Bluebeard etch!

Here are some photos of my first ever etch jobs. I was going for precision with the Submarine, ****ed it up, then went for battered and used...heh.. It worked out, as the bubbles look like bubbles!

Thanks!

It's not amazing, but I'm actually more and more happy with the Submarine the more I look at it. It's less 'messy' looking in person. And the Bluebeard just makes me smile.

That submarine is hawt...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you've got a great knack for the industrial look of your pedalboard

Awesome stuff on both pedals!

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, I like the industrial look of my boards too. I used to have a MXR Micro Chorus and Phase 90 on the board (yellow and orange), along with the BMC (lime green) my girlfriend called it the fruitstand, heh.

mjac: no, I'm not taking orders. I really don't have a dedicated place to etch safely. I live in a condo/apartment building with a shared backyard area, which I used to etch these when no-one else was home, so I got away with 'dangerous chemical management' without bothering anyone. Since winter is coming on here, I wont be going outside to paint/etch until after spring, and then only for touch up work and such. These were experiments only, really. I don't intend on etching/painting many others, if any.

Hit up DanDubblewe for some serious work. And see his thread here for some amazing examples of etching madness.. Dan's the man for etching around these parts.

Cheers!
