Sun Proofing Your Tuner Pedal?

Has anyone figured out a way to modify their tuner so they can see it on a bright outdoor stage? Tape, tints..etc

I have a planet waves ct-04, which is especially bad I think.

Yeah, you can make a little paperboard "shield" to wrap around the top. Easy enough.

Tape a parasol to your board. You'll be the coolest kid at the gig.

Use blue LEDs. So bright even the sun vanishes in front of them.

Any pics of a paperboard shield? You mean just tape some paper over the display?? Sounds ez enough, i've only tried tape so far.

No, a shield AROUND the display. Don't cover it, just make something that'll put the display in a shadow.

What about those plastic tinted sheets they put over computer screens at the library? You can only see it when you're directly in front of it. Might glare to bad to be useful though.

No, that's for when you're hiding your tuning from your tone-deaf guitard.

Blue LEDs and true bypass. That's what the effects forum is all about, right?

+1

OPTION 1:
Take a note card.
Draw stones on it so it looks like a castle.
Cut to size.
Fold so as to fit around the tuner (like a glooove).
Use two pieces of tape, approximately 2" long.

OPTION 2:
Take a note card.
Cut out the shape of a sweet fire with flames and such.
Draw Trogdor the Burninator in the cut-out.
Color accordingly.
Tape to tuner (as instructed in Option 1).

An inverted periscope would do the trick. And make you look like a scientist.

an honest yet large +1 for this

i suggest this method

that monster with its token bulky arm would scare the sunn away, and would amaze all there to bear witness to its immense power.
