Super-Nasty Distortion/Fuzz

Sign in to disble this ad
I am in need of something that does really nasty signal clipping. I need it so I can run it wide-open into the input of my Behringer Xenyx mixer and over-drive that for a wild fuzz tone. By itself it doesn't offer what I need. A bass big muff comes close, but it doesn't have enough output, and my Boss SD-1 colors the tone a bit much on bass.

I suppose I could use an LPB-1 immediately after the BBM or something similar, but I really need some high-gain signal destruction.

The Woolly Mammoth does about as much fuzz as you're going to find anywhere. It will doorstop-open any filter you put it infront of, it is a real monster.

Also try a Grey Stache or a 4545 like Eric suggested.

Really nasty clipping? Howsabout this baby?

http://www.wmdevices.com/acoustictrauma.php

I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm really hoping that somebody crazy will, because it sounds potentially nutso.

OR, if you're just looking for crazy output, how about the OHNOHO Blowing Up? All it does is crazy output! IT BLOWS THINGS UP!!!!
