I think it's a build from someone in Canada, isn't it?

i could TOTALLY use something like that...

3 or four inputs...
mixer knobs...and perhaps... on/off switches... (as stomps)

of course, then it's just a glorified A/B... i guess C/D? switch?

Hell no. I wouldn't trust myself with a soldering iron on something this small even if its this simple

Scroll down on this page and it shows you how to make a passive mixer: http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/Pots

You can take that concept and make the pedal in this thread.

Looks like my first circuit.
I did a hi to lo fi converter, sounds cool but all it was was a 6 pos. switch with 5 resistors. Basically just rolled off treble

Really nice job

Cool idea.

So I'm guessing those are volume pots? Passive mixers can sometimes have issues if you have radical differences in the signal of each component.

It's not very secret if you show it to everyone, and then tell us what it does

now it's just a super pedal.

Cool stuff man. The wiring is neat as hell. Also that's a great idea for a silent practice, I might look into one if/when I go to uni.

But it's not a headphone amp... I would've thought a little Behringer mixer or something like the Rolls PM-351 would be better suited for blending signals for private practice.

Also, if you're throwing a computer into the mix, I would just use the computer as the CD player / metronome, plug the Zoom B2 into that and just use the headphone socket on the computer!

There is some issue with volume, and it would be great if the zoom gave more signal, but I can make due . I was originally planning on using this with my combo of the MicroBass and VTBass which had WAY more volume on zee tap.

Actually, the original schem called for 10K resistors IIRC, but WP ended up putting in lesser value so that there was less volume drop. I forget what value, but it works for what I will use it for

Hehehe! I mostly just hyped it up a while back and figured I'd better post about it or I'd get stalked or something

The zoom B2 is my headphone amp And, TBH, my korg 'nome has a better range of speeds and note ticks than any computer drum machine or nome I have come across That and the fact that I don't feel like setting up my laptop everytime I practice I do like to have my CD player running tho. I hope to replace that with an iPod, or something with an equally huge amount of storage, in the future....
