So who are they knocking off?

I'm almost tempted to buy one just to see the guts...

Looking at the layout and the 'muff' switch, I guess its a muff clone.

I have heard of the brand, never had any experience though.

On one hand, it sounds like it'd be a really cool pedal. However, I don't trust anything sold out of China on eBay.

Somebody somewhere was telling me the compressor was worth a go, but I'm not in any position to gamble right now.

They don't even have the compressor listed right now, but I sent a request for a price through their website.

Looks like the pedals have the plastic jacks though, or maybe it's just my eyes.

I know a guitarist with one of those and he loves it.

He says it pulls off a very good muff, fuzz face and another fuzz (he thinks green ringer) tone.

The collective-wisdom of the internet verdict is: good sounds, could be more durable.

Anyone have any experience with the BIYANG OD7?

Looks like it's attempting to clone a few pedals, including a TS9 and maybe even a Rust Ride (with the three-way switch that includes a "bright" setting).

I'm just wondering if this would work well for bass (it does have a tone control).

it gets there, but yeah, working is another matter, good quality? don't even think about it
although they hit gold every once and awhile with stuff (not specific to pedals at all here... more specific to stuff sold out of china on ebay)

The guitarist in our band uses a delay pedal from this manufacturer and he is very happy with it. No problems with ordering on the bay as well...
