I know for sure it can't track chords if that's a big deal to you.

My favorite band (the fall of troy) has a bassist that uses one and it has a great buzz saw sound.

I use it and it is great for what it does. No chords, he is right. I also hear it tracks better than the SYB-5. I really like it.
