Synthesizer\Korg HELP

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey.
I`ve been looking for some help for a while, and I post threads trough forums so maybe I can get some.
Well, I just got Korg Microsynth, its very nice, but I want to get some new sounds. All I was wondering is if its possible to get new sounds on it if I got midi->PC and back.
If someone know how to get new sounds and such, or if you just know a few things about the korg, please add me on msn: Kelvinsollihogda@hotmail.com, or just respond on this thread. I am not very experienced, so please make it a bit detailed.

kamikazex,

You'd be better off asking here.

I use a microKorg. I don't know how to "get" new sounds, but you can create new sounds very easily. It's a synth! You can create new sounds directly through the keyboard's interface, or through your PC by downloading Korg's editor program. I prefer to use the editor. Most of this is covered in the Users Manual. You'll also need a midi-to-USB adapter. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

You can, but it is a pain. You can plug your bass into the audio in, and make or use a vocoder patch. You may have to hold a key down with some tape to play, but it can be down. That's what I've done with mine before.
