t.c. electronic Nova Delay - Problem with ON/OFF Switch

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

The ON/OFF switch on my Nova Delay stopped working out of the blue. When the unit is powered up, the switch does not do anything. The only way to turn it on is to press the PRESET button, and somehow it turns on. The ON/OFF switch does not turn the unit off after this, so the only way to do it is to unplug the power supply.

Has anyone experienced such a thing before? The unit is more than a year old, so it is out of warranty (in the U.S.).

Do you think it is worth trying to fix it, or should I go for something else?

Cheers,

Alper

I assume nobody has encountered a similar problem. As the unit is not under warranty anymore, it will cost quite a bit ($130) so I do not think it is worth spending that much on a $250 piece of gear, which I bought for much less during a promotion.

It looks like I will throw the thing away and look for a new delay pedal. What would you recommend? Budget is not that big an issue, yet this is for my pedalboard and I would like to keep it at a reasonable price range, say $250 max...

Thanks,

Alper

Alper, did you ever find another delay pedal to replace the Nova Delay?
