T.Rex Mooler vs. BassJuice for slight drive/grind

Does anyone have experience with both?

My concern with the BassJuice is it might be too much overdrive even at the lowest setting, my gibson thunderbird is fairly high-output.

which is better for basic mild drive/grind tubey sounds? also, is there a difference in the character of the drive the pedals add?

the moller is a guitar drive pedal by design but has the appeal of the extra boost gain control that the bass juice lacks, the bass juice is advertised as a bass fuzz/overdrive from what i gather.

The T-Rex Alberta is a tubescreamer clone so I would suggest that for slight drive/grind.

I primarily use a Sansamp BDDI for all my sets. It has a drive knob, that you can use to add a little or a lot of grind to.

the alberta sounds cool but i really want a blend knob for wet/dry.

my first priority is a outstanding basic drive i could leave on all the time, second is the option to blend a dry bass signal with a drive/fuzz in the background. If the pedal can do heavier fuzz/drive sounds (hear "The Step and The Walk" in link) that is a plus.

i already own a sansamp, looking for something else

i play noisy indie rock/electro, i want some unique overdriven bass sounds that can groove.

here is some random examples...

"Cat And The Eye"

"DOG ROSES"
