If you're talking about the Squeezer, comp, it's a great pedal. I use one, ever so slight on the compression, but yeah, it'll warm up your signal if that's what you're looking for. Technically, it's not strictly a preamp, though it does have a gain stage.
would you recommend this for a subtle but effective compression with some tube flavor? I use an EBS multicomp right now and I dont like the way it squeezes at higher levels of compression. Would I be in the same vein with the Squeezer or is it an entierly different effect?

Does anyone know how i can replace the tube? there are no t-rex dealers here (Cyprus) and i need to change the tube these days cos i have an important gig coming up this Sunday. Which preamp tube shall i buy? thanks
