By using the tone controls there is unlimited amount of sounds you can dial in. Fender Modern Player Jaguar bass -> pedal-> tascsam DR-07. Please be gentle.

It looks like the DV line is for guitars?

Sounds great.

Can it get Muff-ish with some mids scooped out? Sounds like it could.

Guitar Center and Musician's Friend (owned by the same company I think) always have those coupons, but so many manufacturers have opted out they seem pretty worthless. I never realized Markbass wasn't excluded! I'll have to keep that in mind...

Got my Mini MB Dist today, and it rips. Tons of great sounds, can get super grindy, and keeps the lows. Both Tone controls are super usable. I didn't think I'd really use the second one, since it just cuts at 800 Hz, but you can get some nice sounds with it. Definitely worth checking out.

I've only had a chance to run it through my practice set up, but it can only sound better on the big boy right?

Got my second MD today. I have one set for low drive and one for ballsy distortion. Can't beat it for the price and, plus they sound superb.
