Tall Font Russian vs Tube Overdrive...

I really was planning on buying the Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian...then I discovered the Swell B-TOD V3 the other day. NOW I CAN'T DECIDE.

What I'm looking for is a pedal that can go from gritty clean to the heavier over driven sound. I think that both do it...but wanted users opinions on this, if you've tried them, one or both. Yes, tube driven ones are about 2x the price but the sound is that unique "real" sound I like.

Both great choices. Very different though. The muff certainly isn't meant to do gritty clean.

The Swell will be more versatile and you can change out the tubes for various flavors TBer MSUsousaphone is the Swell expert around here I would hit him up if he doesn't pop in here.
