I have to do some testing before buying and my english is not so good to understand perfect what do I need to do
I have to set the tone pot to indent marking...is this the unity gain or the mark near the tone pot???
Setting the pedal to bypass mode means to turn it off with the foot switch??
Setting level to unity gain means the mark near that pot that says boost???
I don't own the pedal, so not sure where unity gain is- I have seen the marked spot on the "Boost" knob around 1 o'clock, but not sure.
Bypass definitely means turn the effect off with the footswitch.
Good luck trying it out. You could also use the meter on a recording device/interface to make sure you're matching the gain between effect engaged and effect bypassed.

I think indent marking means the arrow near the tone pot.
Bypass mode means off (with the footswitch, yes).
Unity gain means setting the level pot so it's the same volume when it's on and when it's bypassed.
Hope that helps

You got it right music for life. The boost marker is unity gain, the tone arrow should be the same as the uneffected tone and bypass is off.
I have the volume slightly louder than the boost mark and tone all the way up. I think mine has an early manufacturing flaw which makes the tone a bit darker than it should be.

I am doing this to test it dont have that flaw, cause I dont have technical support here
To set the pedal for unity gain you really need to use your ears. There is always a slight difference between pedals because potentiometers rarely have the same taper.
We will repair the pedal at no charge if it is needed or there is a simple mod that can be done if you're handy with a soldering iron. It would probably be more cost effective to have it done locally if the pedal is outside the US due to the cost of shipping.
