Tina Weymouth Efx help...

Sign in to disble this ad
I am going to be playing a series of tribute concerts playing all Talking Heads. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what effects Tina used. Here is a example of one of the sounds I'm curious about.

I must confess I know NOTHING about Chorus/Flange/Phaser pedals, so forgive my ignorance in identifying what that might be.

Thanks

Sounds like a pretty straight forward bass tone to me.
I don't hear any effects really. just some nice amp grind.

She's got a cool old hollowbody bass and she's playing with a pick. That plus the amp gets her that tone. Also note there is another bassist playing at the same time.
