I just received a Trelicopter tremolo and Pitch Box detuner. I already like how they sounded with my tele, and later I will experiment on bass.

Interested to hear how well the Pitch Box tracks stuff like chords, how good its latency is, and how "steel drum" like an octave up sounds.

Here is a fun clip. Gretsch fretless -> Pitch Box -> Mixer Board -> Reaper. No adjustments made. I started in detune mode, half way through went to pitch shift, then ended in harmonize. It makes an neat bit crushing sound at the extreme ends of harmonize, near +24 and -24. I need to run a fuzz through this thing next! Mwuhahahahahahahahahaha!

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11961247

There was one riff in there where I intentionally played between the fret lines, playing what I call the + notes. C#+, D+, etc. That 1/4-step between notes that only a fretless can play.

Got a Mooer Green Mile pedal last week. It is useable on bass at a certain setting ( no low end loss). I'm using the pedal to get a more drastic overdrive than my W&C Phat Phuk B and SFX Red Dragon are set for. Other settings can be adjusted for over the top
distortion but those settings there is low end loss.

those Pure Octave's have been out for a few days now, somebody has got to have one by now, how does it sound on bass, as I was intrigued but not too impressed by their bass demo. is there a little tremelo in there too or is it just naturally chimey like that?

My needs in tiny pedals are pretty much met now. I've either got what I want or it's coming up soon from Mooer. Stuff that's outstanding:

A bass-friendly comp. With controls for attack, ratio and threshold/volume or gain/volume. 4 decent sized knobs on a 1590a has been done by mythfx, and Max (sfx) did a prototype comp with 4 controls (though 2 were switches) so it should be doable. I may make do with a Mooer blue comp.

An octaver that doesn't warble (sorry, Mooer). I'd be happy with a blendable 1 octave down, somewhere in the ballpark of an MXR BOD or a Boss OC-2.

A noise gate.

A synth pedal .... but that probably is getting towards an unreasonable demand.

I can't think of anything else I'd really use.

One of the Chinese sites (marcmart I think) is claiming they'll have stocks of the new pedals by December 15th.

Cool, but without a parallel through I guess you need splitter somewhere to use an amp. Good transformer in there though?

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on the Infinium. Has anyone else here? I did a quick search but it seemed like only general discussion, no plunges yet.

I'm 99.9 sure that no-one on this thread has owned up to owning one. From time to time I've also done searches across TB with no luck. There's a good chance you're the first.

I must admit that the infinium looks great ! But it almost looks too good to be true.

I need some bass demo of it first, but then if it does the job well, it's kind of a must for a mini board !
