Tom Petty' Free Fallin'

I did a quick search and found nada on this.

I believe chorus is used for the higher-register notes in the 3rd and 4th verses (respectively "vampires" and "mulholland"), but I can't tell if there's a chorus effect in the lower register notes as well ? Is chorus used then for the whole song ? I'm guessing no.

Anybody got a clue ?

I don't hear any effects, but it is a fretless and that might be throwing you off...

Yeah (*slaps forehead*), it does sound like a fretless and that would explain the lower-note slides .

Thanks :-)

This is just like that one guy at work your work.... You know, Gary, who always forgets where he puts his hat, but 99% of the time, it's on his head and he doesn't realize it.
