i was looking on tone factor and DiscoFreq and i was wondering when and why did tone factor stop making pedals and then make them instead under the 3 new brands?
also why did they discontinue so many of the pedals??

I assume you mean the
Hellbilly
Hellbaby
Squeeze Factor
Red K
Fuzz Saw
Cream Pie
Eeyore
75 Special
Pulp Mill
Mobius
The following were built by a guy who worked for Pedalworx Hellbilly, Hellbaby, Squeeze Factor and him and Tone Factor had some disagreement and they stopped using them, he continued to build them and sell himself for a while till he retired from the pedalbuilding world. There are about 150 Hellbilly's out there, 25 Hellbaby's and around 25 Squeeze Factors.
The pulp mill was discontinued due to lack of demand I have one and its much better than the Squeeze Factor I had and Bongo modded it for me and its the only comp I'll use now.
Cream Pie, Fuzz Saw and 75 Special were all built by the same guy who builds soul kitchen fx or GringoLoco, Cream Pie they ran out of parts for and now there isn't enough demand to get more boards and fine a replacement ge for them. 75 they finished the run and have no more boards and not enough demand. Fuzz saw's didn't take off. The 75 and Fuzz Saw were part of a range Tone Factor was trying to put out for 99usd with another 1 knob distortion called the war pig that never got off the ground.
Red K is available under another name in the Sinister Analog range.
Mobius was available under the Sinister Analog range but remand is small, they will build them at special request.
Eeyore they stopped building due to time and cost of the pedal. Basically people make them cheaper else where, people that are more geared up to building switchers and buy parts in much larger orders.
Basically Tone Factor wanted to separate Tone Factor the shop and Tone Factor the pedal brand so they split it and renamed the pedals, they are actually going to get dropping Boomstick and Sinister Analog, with the Bottom Feeder returning to the 442 Red and all the Sinister Analog pedals being dropped, so get them while you can. It will all be made then under the Mojo Hand name with a few others being dropped but I'm unsure what they will be at this time I know it won't be the Nebula, 442, Huck, Mule for sure

in tayste's above post he says they ran out of parts for the cream pie, what exactly did they run out of??? | I have had 5-6 Cream Pies 4 of which were Tone Factor and 2 Mojo Hand, they all sound the same. they might have slightly different placements for the sounds due to how the knobs are stuck on making 12 o clock slightly different.
They originally ran out of the GE's as they did for the Huck but they found a reliable source for them and started doing the Huck again, when they did I asked them about the Cream Pies and they did a few special runs, Christmas Cherry Cream Pie, Blueberry Cream Pie and Talkbass Cream Pie all the same circuit with the same parts just different coloured boxes.
They all used the same circuit boards of which Tone Factor now have no more and don't intend on ordering any more unless 100 people all at once decide they want a Cream Pie and all send Tone Factor the money.
As for the builders email address I don't have it, he is a member here at TB, TGP, HCFX and HM but he drifts in and out of contact with people so don't be annoyed if you message him and don't get a response and also don't take that as a reflection of Tone Factor of which he is not a part of.
