The Tone God - Nerfuzz - true innovation!

I saw this at another forum and my jaw dropped.

I always like to point out when other effects companies are doing great work, and this is one of the most well-thought-out effects devices I've ever seen. From a player's perspective, and an engineering perspective, this is a remarkable achievement - and I'm not one to throw hyperbole around.

I always love when pedals allow you to save sounds. That's been one of my biggest qualms with extremely tweakable effects. A plethora of sounds can be an issue if they can't be accessed and recalled easily, particularly in a live setting. When you consider what all the Nerfuzz is capable of, the price doesn't sound as steep, either. Very cool!

NIIIIIICCCCE! I am very impressed by the amount of thought that went into that. Also I love those skin-contact controls, my old 1980-ish MXR Pitch Transposer had those, and I've always wondered why more companies haven't taken advantage of that technology.

No, woooooow!!! That is perfection! A tb'er posed the question about fuzz pedals pretty much being as good as they can get and that probably nothing "new" would cone out...and here we are. So impressive! Probably worth eeeeeevrry penny!

Ah, I loved that MXR box for its time. That was always in my electric sax rig, and those switches were very easy to deal with.

Well, somebody's gonna have to bite the bullet and get one and tell us how it works on bass. Considering I have an OD pedal, Gated Fuzz, Muff Variant, Bitcrusher, and one other Fuzz on my board, I'm quite interested. The clips sound like I could get damn close to all those sounds. $400 isn't too bad for that.

I have some concerns about reliability though. I fee like I would break this thing, it just looks fragile. What about a rowdy punk or metal show? Maybe a studio only tool?

Obviously real punks can't afford $400 pedals....duh

I'm really interested in the TubeUlent as a pre for a power amp...

Cool concept, but $400 is pretty steep for a fuzz (even one with presets) and those sound clips were, shall we say, less than inspiring.

Looks beyond sweet for guitar, but I'm pretty skeptical about how good it'll sound on bass. Clean blend would be nice, but I'm especially worried about that para EQ.

I hope someone here gets one and lets us know how it does.
