Hey TB,

Steve Jenkins and myself put up some samples at aguilaramp.com. I hope you all find this useful! I know it was a blast to do! Enjoy!

The only problem with the samples is that the playing is so good on the "without" portion that the "with" part is just a little better.

But it's good to see that those are direct tones which shows what the Tone Hammer can do in a recording situation.

Ha! Well I guess that's good and bad. Nevertheless, the ToneHammer does make a difference. Thanks for the kind words.

Dan

Nice clips, but why are the mids scooped on the rock one? Usually it's all about the mids for rock bass. Also, the AGS light isn't on but it sounds like it is on.

I liked the way the mids sat in the mix. That's why I choose to scoop them. Live it might be a different story.

That was my question. The gain was all the way down on that one clip.

It looks like they used the wrong pic for that clip. I think the gain was around 10 o'clock and the mid was at 3pm.

Now that makes sense that the gain was higher. So was the mid level at 3 o'clock or was that the mid frequency? On the pic it shows the freq at 3 o'clock and the level at 9 o'clock.

Oh that makes perfect sense now, so it was a mid boost not a scoop.
