Tonebender??? Does anyone know where I can find the tonebender fuzz pedal that Justin chancellor from tool uses? I looked on the Internet a bit and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Their not available or sold out. |

Here's an amazing Jumbo Tonebender clone I'm selling: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f213/f...ooster-946049/ |

That's the place to get one I would guess. If you want one of the vintage ones you'll have to be patient and look on ebay. I found an old 70's one on ebay about 6 months ago and I ended up picking it up for less than 300$ |
What tool selections do you really like the sound of? I think the majority of his dirt parts are actually his GT2 Distortion. I'm not saying I know this for a fact but alot of his stuff sounds more like that distortion than the tonebender fuzz |

Dean (Toolmybass) can totally back me up on this, I'm sure. ;) |
+1 on Macaris. I was in London last year and bought one. Nice pedal. |
Yeah I thought most of it sounded like the GT-2. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that sounds like the tonebender. Maybe the intro to Jambi? |
Tonebender Jambi (solo section) Current live versions of Flood (intro) Current live version of Intolerance (breakdown) Lost Keys/Blame Hoffman (intro/bas and drum brwakdown) Current live versions of H. (intro) I'll post more if I think of any. ;) |
Sounds like a bunch of live stuff for intros and outros lol. Any parts he uses it in the studio? Is the intro of jambi the gt2? It's so fuzzy I figured it had to be the fuzz for sure. |

Do the new ones sound like the old ones do? |

Thats a yes for the intro to Jambi as well. |
The Jambi intro is the GT2?! |
Are all his dirt parts between the gt2,tonebender, and the rat? Somewhere I read he used a depth charge as well but I have never seen any pictures or proof of this pedal existing on his board |

Nice video. Don't see the depth charge but he is using the prescription electronics overdriver on his dirt channel. Jeez wouldn't it be nice to have 2000$ worth of effects for your "play" pedalboard you bring out just for fun hahaha. I wonder what exactly that little home made tone generator does. |
I'm surprised with all the money he has he uses cheap digital boss pedals for most of his modulation. |
