...is there some kind of speakersimulation inherent in the pedal. I mean when you boost gain while AGS is on. From my experience most distorted sounds are ueseless unless the highs above 5k or so are cut. Like a tweeterless cab would do. Since i would use the pedal to record direct also i wonder what your experience is?

Not sure if it counts as "speaker simulation", but there is a roll-off of the high end as you crank the gain in AGS mode. It's not a crazy-aggressive distortion, but (to me) a very pleasant overdrive.
