Too many effects. Choosing which to keep is so hard.

I have 3 fuzzes alone! Fuzzes are very hard to pick on. IMO they all sound great. In their own ways. However chance I ever use 1 fuzz is slim much less 3.

What do I do?

The bass big muff is VERY versatile. Also too much. There's too many sounds I like and it takes up quite a bit of room. The wooly really only does one sound but man it does it GREAT. The swollen pickle is in a class of its own.

Ahhhh

I always find myself in the same situation...
A lot of pedals to fit in one board... so, I got another board...

I played with a guitar player last year who used to bring a couple of pedals from his vast arsenal to jam. It was different every week.

Ditch the muff first as its the biggest most cumbersome one. The wooly is the most unique as its a gated fuzz so it really cant be emulated by the other two. Between the mammoth and the pickle you should be able to cover your fuzz needs! I'm in the exact same boat as you. I have a tonebender, centurion, and a mastotron and it's time to ditch one of them for space!

Why ditch any of them? Variety is the spice of life.

If your not strapped for space I couldn't agree more. But if your board is suffering and you need space you gotta do what you gotta do

Admitting there's a problem is the first step to recovery.

Oh yeah. I almost bought a fourth earlier today. Best part was tonight when my wife saw that there were two identical B:Assmasters:

"What could you possibly need TWO of those for?!"
"Yeah. I bought a third one last week."

She just laughed at me. I think she's starting to understand my insanity. Perhaps, she too, is joining the fray...

Keep all three, but have only one on the pedal board at a time. Honestly, we hear the difference but the audiance at a gig wouldn't notice if you had one or three. So, keep the pedal board simple and rotate them occasionally to change things up for you.

I wish that I only had three ( I have around 85 different dirt pedals now . the biggest problem is, I like ALL of them).

I've gone through 200 pedals in the last 3 years having as many as 45 at once.
I'm in recovery with "only" 30 or so!
