too many pedals in a daisy chain damaging the brick / pedals?

i got my two new digitech pedals in the mail today! Well, new to me...

so, i decided to wire up all 5 of my effects pedals onto my board: in ->digitech bsw ->boss ds-1 ->ibanez ts-9 ->digtech bass chorus ->digitech delay.

I pluged all of them into my signal flex ps-9, which is labeled "9vDC Total 450 mA"

I figured that if it couldn't supply enough mA, the pedals would just not power up, right? But, they did all turn on, so i turned them back off and started messing with getting them laid out on the pedalboard how i wanted them.

cut to an hour later, when several things go wrong: my power brick now will not turn on, at all. so, i pulled out hte trusty 1-spot with daisy chain and they all worked... kind of. My Ibanez ts-9 would only put out clean signal. and now, a few hours later, no signal at all. I've only slightly modded the Ts-9, i changed out the LED for a different color.


soo...any ideas?

nevermind. i'm an idiot, and the brick is fixed. the ts-9, however...a different thread.

what was the problem?

for some reasson, the little switch on the ps-9 would flip to on, but not turn on, but if i wiggled it a bit, it turns on. so i'm guessing it's a bad switch, which is an easy thing to change out.

freaked out for nothing, basically
