This pedal looks to be a re-branded Trace Elliot SMX Dual compressor? (Same?) There is one review on HC and the guy said it looks to be an updated circuit. Anyone care to chime in?
Well it looks like I might be one of the few references of this pedal. I will do my best to review it once it comes in. Maybe send it to Bongo for a more comprehensive analysis? I will keep you guys posted.....
I think the TAC-1 was produced in 1997. I don't think I've seen one in quite a while, so I have no idea what the secondhand value would be at this point....

I got lucky with it on ebay. There's not enough info on it for it to attract a lot of bidders. If my hunch in correct I think this may be a slightly modded smx compressor. I think it mat be a sleeper.
