Hi I'm travelling to vegas in oct from Australia and was hoping to put a few goodies in my suitcase.
Can any one tell me of a few reputable music stores in the las vegas area. I am looking to get a moog low pass filter, a pj pick up replacement set(still researching) and would like to try out a few good dirt pedals.
Any help would be greaatly appreciated

Ed Roman Guitars. A little pricey but they have a great selection.

I'd do a TB search about Ed Roman before proceeding if I were you.

My guitar player went last week to vegas and Ed Roman does NOT have a retail store and is appointment only. Just FYI so you dont get your hopes up.

Checked out the website... If he sells effects (what I'm after) he doesn't do much of a job advertising it.

Thinking of getting a vt as well

Guitar Center in Las Vegas has a nice selection of instruments and even a vintage section with some goodies. I would check them out. They are in a massive shopping center that's a bit ways off but it's worth the trip. They will let you try anything without breathing down your neck. Nice people too.
If you can I recommend going right when they open up or in the evening so that it's quiet.

If you are ready to buy the items listed without testing them, I would buy online and have the seller ship to your hotel.

guitar centre is one better/bigger than the other? charleston or vegas blvd?

thanks for the delivery idea might try that if I can find some good second hand gear on ebay otherwise I'm on holidays so what could be better than being in a music shop with a fist full of bills surrounded by pedals waiting for me to do bad things to them... oh wait i think i just thought of something

I've only been in the Vegas Blvd location. I would think it's the biggest of the two.
If you have the time hit both.

Did a search. Has anyone dealt with 'Sam Ash' or 'Cowtown Guitars' ?
