I'm looking for a pedal that does tremolo, with the speed controllable by expression pedal. After a decent amount of searching, I've found the Guyatone Ultrem does this (insanely expensive), and it seems the EHX Holy Stain can do this, but not the Pulsar. Any others you guys know of? It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult of an option to include, but none of the standard guys seem to do it on their trem pedals (Boss, EHX, etc). Thanks |

It has tap tempo already on the chassis. This way, real estate doesn't get eaten up with a clunky exp. pedal.
Here's a link to a couple places that sell it: www.axeandyoushallreceive.com and http://www.analoguehaven.com/empresseffects/tremolo/
My guitar player uses it. It is WICKED! |

Also, GigFX chopper comes to mind. I bet a cheap multi with a built-in exp would do it to. Farfisa made a unit to do this back in the day, but it was really limited in controls and you'll never find one. |

The 4ms Trem Lune looks perfect, although it will run about 215 bucks for it with the mod. The Chopper looks to be about the same price. Any others? |

I would seriously try it out to see if it does what you want. I have a feeling it would fill the bill and if not, who cares? It is cheap and resellable. |

Steve has been really helpful in answering all my emails about this kind of thing. It was an extra 25 Canadian dollars to add an option to control the regen amount on the Super Delay if I remember correctly.
I imagine it would be around the same price to add an expression jack to the Trem for tempo.
Both Empress pedals ore on my 'to buy' list, along with a Moog MP201 programmable expression pedal. Gonna be rad!!

| | | | My zoom B2.1u does that with the exp pedal. If I were you I would search CL and Ebay for a used multi that has the settings and what not. The only multi I know that does that so far is the b2.1u. Maybe some googling will help find a cheap alternative multi. |

I ended up going with a trem lune, by the way, and it was fantastic. But the specific effect I was looking for ended up not being used in that song, so I sold it. |

EDIT: yup, it actually has two exp jacks now (for speed and depth). |

it kind of sounds like they are using an expression to speed up/slow down to match the subdivisions of the song
any ideas which tremolo would get me there?
