Tremolo/Rotary Pedal ???

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, I posted a similar thread at sevenstring.org and figured I would try my luck here. I am looking to capture a sound similar to what is being used at the 3 second mark of the clip below. The effect is being used on guitar but I would like to be able to get that sound on bass as well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any responses.

That sounds like a delay to me. A tremolo pedal sounds different. Check out this youtube; there's tremolo used between 2:05 and 3:50 or so.

Yea I see what your saying. I think the modulation effect being used and the delay speed change threw me off. Thanks for the response.

to me it sounds like delay->rotary something. That rotary something does have certain vibe I've heard here and there in DSP leslie emulators. Something like a half way between rotary and phaser. It certanly doesn't emulate twin horns, and has a bit to much phaser-ish resonance.

Phaser or Univibe .... or even flanger is my speculation. Micro Flange is a cool pedal , very leslie like when out in front of your amp.
