Exclamation Trouble with Zoom B2.1u

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey,

Searched all over the internet looking for some kind of
assistance, but looks like no one's really had this problem
before. I pulled out my zoom b2.1u to do a little
recording on cubase after a few weeks - I plug in the
USB power cable and connect it to the PC and
nothing happens on the processor apart from a tiny
red blinking light

Help

Thanks

looks like your USB hub on your pc isn't supplying enough power.

do you have too many devices that draws power connected to your USB ports?

if you're using a external USB hub, the hub it needs it's own external power in order to supply power to the devices attached to it.

also, make sure that the power switch is in the "OFF" position on your zoom. The "OFF" position tells it to draw power from the USB connection.

if its just blinking ( no numbers) that happened to me (zoom b2). I used the power supply, replaced the batts, nothing. I put it up for a few weeks then when I tried it again it worked fine.

As asked by others above...

If you've got other USB devices being used, it could be that it's not getting enough power. Try removing other USB devices and just it alone.
