True Bypass/Battery Question

Sign in to disble this ad
This is probably a dumb question, but does having a pedal with true bypass eliminate the internal 9-volt battery from dying if I leave my cable plugged into the input jack? Just got a Bass Big Muff Pi pedal, quite the upgrade from the old guitar version I used to have!

No, I'm pretty sure that you need to unplug it. The TBP only switches out the signal in/out and the LED.

No.

The circuitry remains switched on when in bypass.
