Hi guys im planning on gettind a true bypass looper but I want one that is passive that works without power as i have no more room with my latest pedal purchase on my daisy chain. What loopers do you guys use and I would like one that has a selection of five loops |

| | | | Build one. Then it will easily fit your needs, and can be built to whatever size you need. It's also one of the easiest pedals to build, and is fairly cheap as well...7 jacks, one enclosure, 5 switches, some wire, you are set. You can even easily add a volume adjustment to each loop by adding a volume pot to each output of the chain.

It seems like a very simple build if you just need a single TBP loop. I myself have never built a pedal and know next to nothing about building but I'm sure if you googled the matter you'd find builds and materials lists for true bypass loop.
I've seen people on here who've built simple stomp boxes out of materials from Radio Shack and from other online sources.
Other builds can chime in with advice. Much better advice.

Instead of the output going to the main out, it goes as the input for the next switch (carry the chain down so there is multiples of the same scheme, but only one in, one out, and 5 sends, 5 returns, 5 switches. Correct me if I'm wrong here anyone?

Or do what I do, use a mainly dead battery. You would be surprised how little power you need to run a LED. |

If you want it to have 5 loops, I could see it getting pretty damn confusing with no indicator LEDs. A 9V battery could drive 5 LEDs for at least a year or two, assuming you disconnect the input jack in between uses. |

As long as the LED is off, it draws no power. It isn't like a "normal" effect that draws some power even when disabled.
I use a looper when I practice so I can easily connect an effects pedal without rewiring. And I leave it plugged in 24/7. |

My looper has a blue led for each loop except the tuner loop which is white. The tuner loop cuts off the output of the looper so tuning is silent.
