I have been using a boss TU-2 for years but recently had a engineer tell me to lose it - - he told me that it flattens out the signal, and that it wasn't a true-bypass. I removed it from my loop and, through the board, could tell he was right.
I love the mute function on the TU-2, but if it's degrading my signal, I don't dig that one bit. Does anyone here know of a complete signal bypass tuner they like?
thx |

--but i hear really good things about the turbotuner and i'd recommend looking at it as well

Myself, I use a Peterson StroboStomp, which is also true bypass, extremely precise, accurate to .1 cent and probably the easiest to use in direct sunlight of all the tuners. Has a built-in D.I. too. They show it being run over by a truck, with no damage to display or stomp switch, due to the design of the case.
Everybody around here likes the Korg Pitchblack,
which is accurate to +/- 1 cent. Looks nice to me.

It's super accurate, and works great in sunlight or lowlight alike. |

around here this guy does it www.fxdoctor.com but as he explains it on his page, it sounds like anyone with a little know how could do it pretty easy. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
