I put mine first thing on my board. But my tuner is true bypass, so does not affect anything when it is not in use. What tuner are you using and where do you have it right now?

Boss pedals have buffered bypass, and I think a Mammoth is some crazy off-shoot of a Fuzz Face clone, which gets picky if there's anything between your guitar and it (most notably, buffers. Same reason active instruments don't agree with a Mammoth, they have a buffer before the signal leaves the guitar).

I keep my tuner last, anyway.

I don't know if you want to do it, but you could sell it and get a Sonic Research Turbo Tuner. That is what I use. It is true bypass, and more accurate (if that matters to you). But, it cost slightly more than the TU-2. They are $130 new. Or I guess you could put the tuner after things, I just have never tried that. It seems like you would have to turn all of your effects off to make sure you are getting a good read from the tuner. Maybe someone knowledgeable will chime in on this, because I am not sure. What about you ebennetts, you have to turn everything off to tune?

Pitchblacks are true bypass too, I think

Yeah, but I only have one or two effects on at any given time, usually.

AND, FWIW, I just compared tuning with Supercollider On and Off, it reads it perfectly either way

If you have any stereo pedals that are being run mono, the unused output can be used as a de facto side-chain path for your tuner. The unused "Dry Out" of my Micro Pog has been feeding my DT-10 a signal and will do so until I receive my Loop-Master next week.

I run an Ernie Ball volume pedal which has two parallel outputs. One for the tuner and one regular output. That works best for me. and its always on and doesnt affect your signal at all.
