Turnaround on effect$

I just sold a Boss PS-3 on eBay. OMGZ STEPHEN BRODSKY SETTING 7! I bought it for about $120 a couple of years ago and turned it around to fund new purchases, etc...for more than $100 more than what I bought it at. I'm a happy man. Maybe it was the Blue LED I installed in it...

What pedals have you bought at a fair price and turned around for much more? Discuss, friends.

I traded Mastotron for Roland Jet Phaser. Did I win already

I lost significant amount of money on other deals though.

I came in here expecting to hear about how we at TB can't hold on to pedals for very long, hence all the familiar faces and pedals always showing up in the classifieds.

Cool

I've made maybe $20 in total. Which puts me around $-1238905u235dasfd8 overall.

I bought a very beat up 70's Mutron III from Mars music back in 2000 for $125 and when I gave up playing in 2001 I sold it on Evilbay for $330. I kinda wish I had hung on to that one though. It really did reek of funk. Most everything else has been even steven. I did sell a Bass PODxt Live earlier this year for $240 plus shipping and just bought one last week for $155 shipped from a fellow TB'r. Doesn't make up for all the money I've blown through over the years though

Two divorces later and I'm back playing again (2006). Got smart this time and started dating a musician chick! Now I have a full time vocalist/keyboard/guitarist I don't have to pay ( but can't easily fire either)

Either even, or at a little bit of a loss.

I've never sold a pedal for more than I bought it for.

The best I've done was buy a Zoom Ultra Fuzz from a co-worker who didn't play for $40, and sold it for $110. Otherwise, I generally accept a small loss on most sales.

I've always lost my pants anytime I've ever flipped a pedal, or anything else. Plus, I've given away so many pedals at this point, it's completely a lost cause. Good for you if you can make a buck.

Anyone else have old muffs out there like WoodShed (sitting on/using a Civil War version BMP that's worth more than when he bought it)? Anything like this, people?

I've got a Boss CS-1 and a Sovtek Small Stone that are probably worth a bit. I think I got them for reasonable prices (I'm happy anyway), no idea how much they're worth.

I picked up an Tech21 AcousticDI for $30 and hocked it for $50. Also picked up a BassSynthWah for $20 new and flipped it for $45 (thank you Guitar Center). I picked up a BDDI for 60 and traded it for my M80. I probably could have asked for some cash back on that one but I figured an M80 for $60 was more than fair, plus I prefer the M80 to the BDDI.

Nothing so good as picking up a hundred bones on a pedal, though.

The only pedal deal I ever did was when I traded a Boss OD-1 for a Duncan split 'P' pup.
I still have (and use) the first pedal I ever bought (DOD 575-A Flanger).

I've managed to prettymuch come out on top except for a few.

i bought a BBM for $30 but its not going to be sold ever
and an LM308 rat for $60
a GEB-7 for $40
crybaby classic FREE
bassballs FREE
syb-3 FREE (essentially, the thing i traded for the thing i traded for the thing i traded was free)

I generally shop around to find the best possible deal to break even if anything
