Has anyone tried this pedal TW-1 on bass?

It either this or AW-3. What do you say?

If you are a collector: get the TW-1.

If you are just a bassist who wants an autowah: AW-3

Combination of those two above: get them both.

(I think there was a thread on this pedal not long ago.)

The AW-3 is just higher up the evolutionary ladder than the TW-1. In theory the AW-3 can produce the sound of the TW-1 but not the other way around.

I borrowed a TW-1 from a friend a few years ago. I liked it on guitar, but it thinned out the bass too much for my liking. I suspect it's a bandpass or high-pass, not low-pass filter.

For a pedal of the same size and color the Ibanez/Maxon AF-9 is way better IMO.

it works better when I play above the 12th fret; so I use to run it in parallel with the OC-2.
