Tweaking?

Sign in to disble this ad
(This may sound like a really stupid question to some of you D= )

I don't often use too many effect pedals, and I've only recently bought two of them. They're great and everything, but I'm curious as to how people are "tweaking" them, and what does this entail soundwise?

"Tweaking" typically means one of three things:

1) Making small adjustments to the knob settings

2) Making small modifications to the internal components, e.g. changing an input or output capacitor

3) Acting shaky and freaky due to drug use

All three sound about the same.
