I ordered one just over two weeks ago, and Taylor said the current wait time is about two weeks, so I imagine that timeframe is still current. I always give a couple of weeks leeway just in case though, as stuff can always pop up.

Looks like we're after the same fuzzes (the Devi Bass Fuzz is awesome FWIW).

Just curious, did anyone else think of pre-workout supplements when they read this title?

What kind of finish did you order? I'm also thinking of getting a custom one.

Once I saw Behndys custom Xerograph (please don't hate me Behndy), I had to have an Oxide in the same color. You can see a big pic of it here (scroll down till you see the awesomeness!) Iron Ether: Oxide Fuzz
Taylor gave me a 6 week wait because of the order time for the custom enclosure and build time. 4 more weeks...

I cannot remember exactly how long my wait was, but somewhere around 3-4 weeks sounds about right to me.

Ask Taylor, he's extremely helpful.

That's about how long it took mine, but... IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!

Absolutely worth the wait. I actually was going to build a custom Oxide, but decided I'd just be better off buying two standards. One Oxide into another is crazy.

Other than the finish, what kind of mods can he perform on the Oxide, sound-wise? If I ordered one, should I look into having it modified specifically for bass?

Taylor might be able to mod the morph so it's a different type of fuzz (but, gated/brassmaster is the bomb IMO). Other than that, it's set up for bass as is.

the only mod i would see as being nice to have would be an exp control jack for the morph knob to switch between the 2 on the fly real easy

I've ordered mine 4 months ago.
Taylor is working hard to made the project because I asked him to put on the basic Oxide the exp jack for morph and another switch that activates a sort of Orbit-sound-side with frequency control and a blend knob(it blends the fuzz with the frequency knob).the frequency can be controlled also with an exp jack...
I can't wait!
