Una Pregunta....:Noise!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Digitech Grunge Dist pedal and an Ashdown Chrous plus pedal....NOISE! I was wondering if i should just get a noise reduction pedal after my pedals or a little device that i discovered, the -EB TECH hum exterminator-...plugs into a 3 prong socket. The noise im trying to get rid of is the nasty squeal of feedback from the dist. and the 'sshwweeee_shwwwaaao' of the flangey chorus pedal affecting the already present noise...any suggestions, opinions, or crap about how i should get different pedals?

The feedback from the dirt, and the whooshing from the chorus, can be killed with a noise gate--however personally I hate the way noise gates chop my notes, so I prefer to shop around for pedals that don't make much noise in the first place.

The "hum eliminator" is for killing a specific sound, 60-cycle hum, which is completely unrelated to the noises you're dealing with.

No, it would go dead last, but it's not solving a problem really, just adding another pedal. For the same money, you could get better pedals- especially the grunge, which is a guitar distortion.
