Undertaking a project greater than I....

So, I've been bit by the wah bug, and the DIY bug at the same time. I've come to love the TycoBrahe Parapedal/Chicago Ironworks Parachute wah.

I've got vintage gut shots with cap and resistor values and all other sorts of data I'll need.

I have now ordered all the parts I need to try and build this wah. This will also be pretty much my first build. I'll be breadboarding it for awhile to make sure I've got it right.

I couldn't find the exact IC's that are in the original, but I did some cross referencing and supposedly found some that are pretty similiar. I can't wait to get this together and see if it will work.

I'd love to get a schematic of that if you have one.

The schematic I found actually has a few discrepancies from the vintage gut shots. I'm trusting the gutshots more than the schem. I can send you the photos if you PM me your email.

I'll take both pics and the schematic and your knowledge of the differences between the two.

PM incoming...

They are two bugs you don't want to get simultaneously. Making the circuit is the easy part - making a reliable and practical treadle is the nightmare... unless you have a sacrifice?

I'm going to pick up a broken crybaby or something.

Gutting a wah is definitely the way to go.

Yeah, I just put a listing on craigslist looking for broken wahs. Willing to pay like 10 bucks or something for it.

Also, if you need one of those .001pf caps, you're welcome to one of mine since I had to buy so many. Just PM me if you want it. I'll mail it out whenever I get them in.
