So, there are plenty of octave pedals out there that generate one or two octaves below the original note (a few of which i own), but what besides the POG is a good pedal that offers both an above and below octave signal. Ideally I would like something that has a level control for each octave and a dry signal level or mix control. I have played the POG and like it but it is just too darn big for me to tote around. Have never played the micro pog but want to know what else is out there.
thanks for your input |

Another few to add to the list are the Digitech Harmonizer & Whammy (in all incarnations), Boss PS-3 & PS-5, MI Audio Pollyanna, EHX BMS, and the Chunk Systems Octavius Squeezer.
That's not even mentioning all the multi-effect pedals that have this feature too...
Personally my #1 choice having played with a POG, HOG, and Micro POG, as well as owning a Digitech GNX4 which has built in whammy and harmonist features would have to be the Micro POG.

| | | | I vote for the Micro Pog as well although the audible click of engaging and disengaging the pedal makes it useless for recording.

c- | isn't that the smart thing to do anyways? that's how i do all my recording too... effects in layers.
though i have very little experience with it...
micro-pog is definitely a powerful little beast.
the whole...
2 octaves down on a bass seems rather...
useless to me, and i'd definitely like to switch it over to a micro-pog instead, though the foxrox octron has some features (once you get inside it) that make it a more interesting thing to play with...

Thx for the tipoff, though...you were right about it! It's a doggone fine pedal.
