Really stoked on this. I do a lot of touring by flying out and playing on borrowed gear. I normally use the Rusty Box into power amp in of whatever amp I'm using, but this might be another option for those situations. | Too big for a pedal/for me and most certainly way too expensive.
From me it#s a 'No thanks' '

Anyone got board pics of the meatsmoke alongside other pedals? Just trying to get an idea of the sort of board space I would need. | probably not what you are looking for but here is my board and my meatsmoke preamp pedal at a gig

I downsized to the Meatsmoke, OSD, GreyStache and a NS-2. And TU-3 of course. They all kinda sit around the MS pre. Best pedal ever. Totally worth the price.

Its most prominent with the boost on and the gain up high.

| | | | Okay, here's my question for y'all - and I can repost this in Club Verellen if I need to - but I have two SVT Bluelines that I'm just sitting on. I hate lugging these things around. I'm thinking of downsizing. I love the Verellen Meatsmoke, but never considering going for one cus of the aforementioned SVTs.
How do these pedals/pre-amps compare? I'd love to get rid of one of these monster heads and get something cheap, like an old acoustic or gk, run one of these pedals into it for the warmth and tube overdrive. Would it even compare? I was really impressed with the sound clips you guys posted, plus the kickstarter video...
Thoughts/opinions? |
