Video Demo: Tech 21 Blonde Deluxe/VT Bass DI
 

I really dig the blonde for my bass, I run it into my mesa boogie Bass buster, gives me a great fat pillowy tone, I think the deluxe might be overkill as I only use 1 general sound on the pedal.

As for the VT with sansamp layout, I hear a lot of scooped compression on that pedal, one of the reasons I ended up using my bass driver as a door stop until someone here asked to buy it.
I have not tried the regular VT but I remember reading that it did not have that scooped compressed tone of the bass driver. Any users out there care to comment? Thanks!

Demo had Highs and Lows boosted with a Mid cut.. of course.

I'm sure it sounded better for the demo purposes. I've only ever owned the Deluxe but as I recall it could be set to cut stone.
